- UNI represents 900 unions and 15 million workers around the world. We cover 13 sectors of work, including Post, Finance, Commerce, Graphical and Telecom. We've existed for over 100 years and since 2007 in Second Life. UNI co-organised the first virtual strike against IBM in SL, in September 07 where 1800 people joined from over 30 countries.
